Student Executive Council: The Student Executive Council conducted all its events in offline mode, which was a given a very warm reception by all the students. The SEC, in collaboration with other committees, conducted different festival celebrations, Open Mic Sessions and many more events across the entirety of the academic year. Some festivities that witnessed a lot of student enthusiasm were Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas & New Year celebrations. All these occasions included cultural performances from students followed by photo sessions and special meals for all students.
The Flagship events of SEC, Business Excellence Summit’22 and Xpressions’22 were organised with a lot of pomp and show that were the highlight of the work SEC does for the XIMB community. The Business Excellence Summit was a 3-day extravaganza, that saw 18 renowned speakers coming up to enthral our students with their insights around the theme of “Transcending Boundaries”. Alongside these sessions, Case studies, management games and sessions were organised which saw massive participation by the students.
Xpressions’22, was conducted in offline mode, in collaboration with Xpressions Steering Committee. The festival started with a Pre-event, that marked the artist launch for the pro-nights, was witnessed by a 600+ strong audience. Xathon’22 – a Pan India Marathon Event, which saw the active engagement of 350+ participants. The registrations from Xathon’22 was used for X-enable, which aims at helping children with special abilities in collaboration with an NGO in Bhubaneswar. The main festival comprising of a number of business events, campus events & stage events were conducted over Unstop Platform and on campus. The Holi Celebrations will mark the colourful & vibrant culmination of SEC’s workings for the current academic year.
