CENTRE FOR BUSINESS AND SOCIETY
The Centre for Business & Society (CBS) at XIMB was established in 2019. The Centre takes over the 10 year legacy of the Centre for Resettlement, Rehabilitation & Corporate Social Responsibility (CRRCSR). Over 10 years, the CRRCSR was involved in several research and consulting activities with leading organizations like Coal India, Tata Steel, Tehri Hydro Power Development Corporation (THDC), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) among others. It represented XIMB through invited presentations at leading business schools including Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
The Centre for Business & Society (CBS) aims to work at the intersection of business and society issues with the objective of contributing to a just and equitable society. Topics of interest include Climate Change, Sustainability oriented Innovations and Marketing, Sustainable Development Goals, Circular Economy, Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Giving Voice to Values.
