ABOUT THE CENTRE FOR CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
The Centre for Corporate Governance at XIMB is constituted to pursue institution wide scholarships on the world-wide debates on Corporate Governance and complementing it with the India’s ancient debates on the topic. The Centre looks forward to facilitating original and applied research on following broad themes along with its dissemination to the practice. The above themes, are the broad areas; however, can unfold into detailed sub-themes and research problems.

Aims and Objectives
The Centre has the following aims:
- To conduct and encourage high quality research in corporate governance in general, and research in the context of digital and information age with global and local challenges before the corporates, in particular;
- To contribute and/or complement with “knowledge” to the variety of courses of various schools of XUB;
- To engage in interdisciplinary and cross-border research through collaboration with others partner institutes;
- To consult with professional bodies, corporations, governments and other-interest groups, on corporate governance issues and to train for enhancing corporate governance skills.
- To disseminate the research of the Centre as widely as possible through organizing conferences, seminars and workshops, publishing research outcomes, presenting at conferences and seminars.
- To attract students, particularly doctoral fellows from the different schools to get engaged to the Centre for cultivating and contributing to the centre in terms of research and publication.
