The flagship event of XIMB, commenced on the 13th of September, 2019 on the theme “Innovating Business”. Chief Guest, Shri Asit Kumar Tripathy, delivered the inaugural speech addressing XIMB as an ‘Institute of Excellence’. Esteemed speaker Mr Anand Sen gave valuable insights on efficient methodologies being implemented for Total Quality Management. Mr Prithvijit Roy provided significant touch-points on Business Transformation and Artificial Intelligence. Mr D. Shivakumar emphasized on the importance of innovative thinking. 14th September witnessed a panel discussion on “Invest, Innovate, Integrate” where Mr Saurav Mohanty, Mr Aharnish Mishra, Mr Sujit Panigrahi and Mr Naveen Kejriwal addressed the audience about the need to invest in disruptive thinking. The students had an interactive panel discussion with Mr Binny Mathews, Mr Debabrat Mishra and Mrs Prativa Mohapatra on involving local parameters within every global ideation. A workshop on “Delivering Proposition through Analytics” by Mr Ashesh Kumar concluded the proceedings of day two.
On the third day, the enthusiastic students attended a leadership talk by Mr Yeshwanth Nag on the attributes required to foster entrepreneurial dreams. They also participated actively in answering “Is disruptive Innovation the only Way to Create Value?” with Mr Stalin Mohapatra, Mr Kamadeba Mohanty, and Mr Harshit Vyas. A leadership talk by Mr Siddhartha Dash was followed by Mr Sabyasachi Das informing students about the intricacies related to automation.
